Jim started driving trucks while he was still in high school in Kansas. He also worked summers in a quarry operation and in construction. After more than 57 years working in the transportation and construction industries he has the experience and training to opine on heavy equipment operation and all the areas of trucking operations including loading dock, truck loading, load securement, driving trucks, driver actions and reactions, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, driver responsibilities, company responsibilities, taught defensive driving to professional drivers, taught sleep deprivation and fatigue in professional drivers to dispatchers, and is a NATMI certified director of safety.
